Phone Calls

Our trained medical staff will answer any concerns you may have. Your call will be returned within 2-3 hours. Our medical staff regularly consult with the doctor if they have questions regarding a treatment plan and/or recommendation. If you need to speak with a doctor, your primary care provider or the covering providers will return your call by the end of the day. Please leave your call back number and make sure the phone is unblocked.

Refills, Forms and Letters

Prescription refills, requested letters and forms for school, work, sports and camp should be requested during regular office hours Monday-Friday. Please allow 72 hours for refill requests and one week for all letters and forms although most requests are usually completed within 48 hours. For refills, be sure to leave your child's name and date of birth, the name and strength of medicine, your pharmacy information and your call back number. We may also require that your child has been seen for his/her regular follow-ups or has had a physical within the year. Please make at least one copy of all forms for your own records as additional copies are $5. If you would like us to mail or fax forms to a third party, you will be required to give written authorization.

After Hours Care and Emergency Room Visits

Please call our office at 781-289-5057 for all after hours concerns or before going to the emergency room. A triage nurse and/or provider is available to consult with you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Many seemingly emergency situations can usually be managed over the phone until our office opens in the morning. (Please refer to "For Parent" section of the website) We do ask for your help in limiting after hours calls to those of an urgent nature and those that cannot wait until morning.

We are happy to make appropriate referrals when needed. Most insurance companies require that patients call their doctor's office BEFORE making an appointment with a specialist. Expenses you incur by self-referral will be your financial responsibility.

Insurance and Co-pays

We participate with most insurance companies. We ask that you present your insurance card at each visit so we may have up-to-date information. Co-payments are due at the time of the visit. We can no longer bill for co-payments.

For your convenience, the following forms required for the first visit are now available for downloading.

Please use the form below to request your FULL medical records, either from our office, or for the purpose of transferring to our office. A $10 fee may apply.
